Solanas is a stunning 1 km long beach with fine, white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters located on the southeastern coast of Sardinia. Its natural beauty and convenient location make it a popular beach destination.
What to Do
- Swimming and Sunbathing 🏊♂️☀️The calm, shallow waters are perfect for swimming and playing. The beach also has areas with lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent. Spend a relaxing day sunbathing on the soft sand.
- Snorkeling and Diving 🤿Spot colorful fish and other marine life while snorkeling along the rocky areas on both sides of Solanas beach. Scuba diving is also possible to explore even more underwater.
- Beach Bars 🍹There are several beach bars located right on Solanas beach where you can grab a snack, cocktail or cold drink while soaking up the sunny atmosphere.
Where to Eat
Unfortunately, there are currently no restaurants directly on Solanas beach. However, the small town of Solanas located right behind the beach offers several cafe and dining options within walking distance. We recommend bringing a picnic lunch to enjoy on the beach.
Where to Stay
There are a few small hotels and B&Bs located near Solanas beach that offer comfortable accommodations. However, the closest hotels are located in the village of Solanas, about a 5-10 minute walk inland from the beach.
