Tylissos Beach Hotel is a short walk from Paralia Ierapetras and gets high marks for its friendly staff, tasty food, nice pool and easy beach access. Rooms have pool or mountain views. Downsides are somewhat noisy A/C and the busy road between the hotel and beach.

Petra Mare Hotel is a pristine, modern beachfront resort 15 minutes walking from central Ierapetra. It gets rave reviews from families for its children’s pools, playgrounds, mini club, entertainment and large buffet. Some complaints about cleanliness.

There is free public parking along the beach promenade. For hotels, some have private parking and others are street parking.
