As I walked along the beautiful sandy beach of Bora Bora, with the turquoise water gently lapping at my feet, I knew I had found a little slice of paradise in Crete. This magnificent beach is known for its soft golden sand, gorgeous views, and excellent amenities, making it a perfect spot for couples and families alike.

✅ Beach Club Vibes – The super chill beach bar serves up delicious cocktails and quality food at decent prices. The bartender even brings cold beers in an ice bucket right to your sunbed! Groove to the ambient beats as you gaze out over the sea.
✅ Water Sports – The beach attendants offer equipment rental for sports like stand up paddleboarding, kayaking and more, so you can get active out on the waves. Beginner lessons are also available!
And with free wi-fi throughout the area, you’ll never be bored. After the sun goes down, people often linger late into the evening enjoying good company.

Right on Bora Bora beach, Ειρήνη Restaurant is my top food recommendation, thanks to its fresh seafood, awesome Greek cuisine, and exceptional service. When I visited, the kind owner gave us free dessert! They also have a nice drink menu, including a signature rose wine cocktail.
Where to Stay
I had an amazing stay at Grecotel Plaza Beach House, an elegant 4-star hotel and short walk from Bora Bora Beach. Beyond the chic, modern rooms, what really impressed me was the super friendly and attentive staff catering to my every need. An very enjoyable hotel with great amenities!
Just down the beach, Atlantis Beach Hotel & Spa is a luxurious 5-star option allowing you to wake up right on the sand. Their lavish breakfast buffet by the water is a great way to start your day.
Parking
Parking can be tricky in this area, but the best option is City Center Parking Garage. Despite limited space, the staff efficiently re-organize vehicles as needed so everyone fits. Payment is very reasonable, only a few Euros per hour, and it’s an easy 10 minute walk to the beach.
